Dear Agent,
I get it.
I know you’re busy. I know you have a million things on your plate.
If you’re reading this, I also know you want to be the best real estate agent you can be.
That’s why, no matter how busy you are, it’s so critical to schedule practice time into your calendar. Role playing should be part of your routine, day in and day out.
Lawyers practice their arguments before and during a trial…
Actors practice their lines...
The President of the United States practices his speech…
Your doctor and dentist practiced procedures over and over again…
Tiger Woods spends many hours every week practicing golf, ever since the day he was able to crawl.
Michael Jordan spent countless hours on the court practicing dribbling, shooting, and weight lifting at the gym.
The idea of “practice” is not just for those who are just starting out or intermediate...
In fact, it’s often that those who are at the PEAK of their careers are the ones who practice the most!
They continue to practice as if they believe that they may lose their talent if they stopped.
It’s quite obvious at this point...
If you look around at every industry out there, you’ll see the top performers are constantly practicing their craft, and improving.
We have to assume that your competition is practicing so in order to compete in your real estate business you must practice also.
In real estate, we call practicing; role playing.
If you want to set more appointments, convert more leads, and sell more homes, a solid way to start is by using role-play to practice.
It prepares you for any question and any situation that comes up with leads and clients, and helps you have rational conversations in often emotional situations.
Finding success with real estate prospecting without first practicing can be likened to not studying before a final exam, in a class you’ve missed more days than you’ve attended!
You might “think” you can wing it.
You might think you can deftly deflect any objection a potential client could throw your way…
But when you’re in the heat of the moment, it often doesn’t work.
When you’re on a call, you don’t want to fumble for your words. To be great at real estate prospecting, you need to practice.
Do it enough, and it becomes second nature - almost like it's embedded into your DNA.
When you practice enough:
You won’t be searching for what to say.
The conversation flows, in whichever direction it goes.
Navigating objections becomes easier.
This not only will make you feel more confident, but it will make you sound more confident. Confidence builds trust.
Have you had trouble with a seller when they:
Tell you they want to think it over prior to signing...
When a seller wants to list the property much higher then recent sales...
When a Seller pushes back on commmision percentages...
When a seller tells you they already have an agent...
Following a script and being able to role play on how to handle these situations can work wonders for your career.
It can take a beginner from 0-1 sales per month and will propel them to 2-4 sales every month with less work - because the only time you get paid is when a transaction closes, and in order to close, multiple conversations will ensue throughout the process.
If you are going to overcome these common objections that come up, you need all the tools possible at your disposal.
Role plays are an incredibly powerful tool to do just that.
You’ll be paired up with a motivated agent…
And be given my top scripts to practice.
You’ll be able to better handle different situations in your real estate career, be it:

Imagine yourself giving a speech knowing that you did not practice at all prior to speaking.
Maybe you looked at your notes yet you did not practice speaking it with anyone else.
How would you do?
Maybe you would pull it off, but maybe you’d probably stumble and forget your lines.
Now imagine yourself having to give that same speech knowing that you practiced for a few weeks in advance.
You wrote the speech, you read it over and over and you spoke it to your friends again and again.
Each time they offered a little critique and timed you to make sure it was not too long or too short.
You changed it a few times until you were convinced you were ready. Based on the two examples, which speech would be most effective?
I think the answer is obvious.
Preparation is everything.
And when you fail to prepare, you’re preparing to fail.
Are you going to be the one agent that consistently practices and therefore experiences quantum leaps in one’s production?
If the answer is “yes,” I encourage you to join this mastermind.
